Named in homage to local heritage icon, Spitfire Taekwondo is the one of the premier Sport Taekwondo academies in the South of England.
Re-launched from City of Winchester in 2003, Spitfire
Taekwondo has classes across Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester and Farnborough
teaching this exciting Olympic Style sport.
Experienced and friendly instruction comes from a key group of accredited,
CRB-checked WTF Blackbelts, whose modus operandi is to deliver safe,
consistent, high-quality taekwondo.
The age demographic of Spitfire members, spans 4 to 40 year-olds, with a
50-50 split of female to male. The uniting factors of these diverse age groups
are the desires to enhance: fitness, physical skill and value of self.
On a social level, multiple friendships are built
during the training and extensive number of additional activities offered
by this remarkable academy.
Spitfire Taekwondo also works in partnership with Hampshire County Council,
has been solely instrumental in the introduction of Taekwondo into the mainstream
of PE activities across Hampshire’s Schools. |
